Prepaid subscribers in the UK with bottomless wallet and a hunger for a good taste; may consider choosing Vertu’s new Android smartphone. Priced at £4090, the Vertu Constellation is the company’s second attempt with the Prepaid Vertu Constellation Android platform. Despite its ridiculously high price tag, the phone isn’t a high-end powerhouse. Users also won’t get high quality 1080p display and fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and instead, they get a phone constructed with rare materials.
Unlike faux leather plastic found on standard phones, the Constellation comes with real leather back material. The phone will be available in various color options including pink, orange, beige, brown and pink. Vertu handcrafts each phone in its headquarters at Church Crookham, Hampshire.
The Vertu Constellation is equipped with 720p screen resolution, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1800 mAh battery, 13Mp rear-facing camera and 32GB of internal storage. A frame made from grade-5 titanium under the outer leather surface is stronger and lighter than steel. Its sapphire crystal display is manufactured to resist scratches.
