Verizon has provided subscribers with multiple Lumia devices and the Denim update is available for Lumia 822, 922 and Icon. The Lumia Denim is a major update for Windows Phone 8.1 devices and it has been rolled out in select regions, such as Europe, India and China. Users in the United States are not among those who obtain the update, but prepaid subscribers from Verizon will be the first to get it. It should be noted that Verizon hasn’t released the previous Lumia Cyan update for these three models, so users will get a particularly significant update.
Subscribers will be treated to many major improvements and features, such as highly secure consumer VPN, camera app enhancements (depending on device models), Live folders, Cortana personal assistant and many more. The Denim also contains many bug fixes and stability improvements to enhance user experience.
Apparently, the update isn’t available simultaneously for all devices and the Denim update will be rolled in 2015 specifically for the Lumia Icon model. There’s no exact date of availability, but we should get the latest updates quite soon.
