All the high-end smartphone are pushing beyond the 4.7-inch display size mark. However, not everyone wants to use massive phones and prefer a smaller device with decent hardware specs. Luckily, the T-Mobile UK has such a device for its prepaid subscribers. The HTC One Mini is a shrunken version of the original One; with 4.3-inch display, instead of the 4.7-inch panel used by the original.
Despite the lower 720p screen resolution, the One Mini slightly surpasses iPhone 5S’ Retina Display feature with its 341ppi of pixel density. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor, which confirms its mid-range status.
Other hardware features include 16GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM; unfortunately, the back cover is non-removable and it doesn’t have microSD card slot. Available connectivity options include Cat. 3 4G LTE, GPS, DLNA, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 with AptX support. T-Mobile UK currently sells the HTC One Mini for £299.99 with Pay As You Go plan.
