Sony unveiled the Xperia Z1 at the IFA event on September 4 and it is now in stock in various UK stores, including Digital Phone Company, Handtec and Clove. The unlocked Xperia Z1 in Clove UK is available at £564, including VAT. Sony also offers £110 worth of content and SmartWatch 2. The phone is also available in Handtec for £557.99 and from Digital Phone Company for £549.99, both including VAT.
The Sony Xperia Z1 features 5-inch 1080p Triluminos display with X-Reality technology. It comes with Jelly Bean (Android 4.2) out of the box. There is also a 20.7Mp rear-facing camera that includes BIONZ processing engine.
It provides high autofocus performance, less noise and better stability to prevent blurriness during video recording. The Z1 also complies to IP55 and IP58 certification for water and dust resistance. There is also 16GB of internal storage, of which only less than 12GB is available for users.
