AT&T has rolled out the major Windows Phone 8.1 build for the Lumia 520 and Lumia 925. The new update brings significant enhancement including Android-style drop down notification, Cortana digital assistant and others. The same update has been available for AT&T’s other Lumia models, including the Lumia 635 and Lumia 1520.
Other available features are:
- One Windows: Windows Phone 8.1 reinvents experience across the mobile screens with Bing, Office, Skype and OneDrive. Users can play, work, share and shoot wherever they go.
- Personalization: Multiple color options and sizes are available with Live Tiles to let us pin people, music apps to the Start Screen, so we could choose any information we want to display.
- Xbox: With Xbox video, music and games in our pocket, it is possible to have plenty of entertainment options on the go.
- Efficiency: Windows Phone 8.1 can help us to do more through the use of quick actions, Action Center for notifications management and Word Flow keyboard. There is also a new suite of data and device management tools.
Users can start downloading the new Windows Phone Update for their prepaid AT&T’s Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 925 by tapping the “Phone Update” on the Setting Live Tile screen.
