Verizon will soon release its new big, large smartphone models, the Sony Xperia Z3v and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Both will be available directly from the Big Red. The former is available on contract for $199.99, while the latter can be picked with a new contract for a whopping $299.99. With the EDGE, subscribers can obtain an interest-free financing.
In terms of raw hardware specs, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is clearly a powerful device. It comes with a large 5.7-inch Quad HD display, making it one of the sharpest phablet in the market. Inside, there are Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. The 16Mp camera on the back could provide more than decent results for casual photography.
The phablet comes with the S-Pen stylus the usual trait in the Note family. It comes with a removable battery and microSD card support. Another exciting thing about the phone is its aluminium chassis. At launch, the phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with possible upgrade to Lollipop soon. The Xperia Z3v is an enhanced form of Xperia Z2 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM. It has Qi wireless charging and other specs are roughly similar with the original Z3.
