At only £128, Boost Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S2 4G is one of the best prepaid deals this week. The company has recently dropped the price and the price is certainly interesting considering the phone was Samsung’s premium flagship in the late 2011.
With 4.5-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and WiMAX 4G support; the phone looks like a budget device by today’s standard. Nevertheless, for average users, the S2 is still a sufficiently formidable handset with its decent camera and build quality. Boost’s version of the Galaxy S2 arrived with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), but the newer, official Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2) has been available.
Unlike standard, International version of the Galaxy S2, the phone can seamlessly switch using a dual-mode. It covers Sprint’s reliable 4G (WiMAX) and 3G Nationwide Network. With the fast data connection speed, users can take advantage of the rich and crisp display, while they are enjoying smooth 1080p videos on the go.
