Three UK recently announced that the Sony Xperia M has joined its entry-level smartphone ranks with Pay As You Go plan for only £149.99. Sony announced the device in June and it offers a rather nice design in the budget category.
The Xperia M is equipped with 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch (480 x 854) FWVGA display, 4GB of internal storage and 5Mp rear-facing camera. Users can expand the rather limited storage space with microSD card slot. Its One Touch connectivity feature is based on the NFC functionality and the Xperia M comes preinstalled with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
With only £15 per month, Three UK’s prepaid subscribers can get 300 minutes of talk time, 3,000 text messages and unlimited data. So far, it’s clear that the Sony Xperia M is a very affordable solution for any off-contract users.
Sony has also unveiled the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra and they due out in various regional markets in the coming months.
