Proud owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 in the United Kingdom would be pleased to know that the South Korean company has resumed the roll out of Android 4.3 update in European countries. When the Android 4.3 was first released, many Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 users complained that it was infested with so many bugs and problems. Many users said that the update caused massive battery drain when performing only simple tasks including using Google Search.
Some criticized that the launcher wasn’t sufficiently improved and it appears to be redrawn a lot. On the notification area, the Air View didn’t work anymore and the onscreen keyboard didn’t automatically returns to letter after users sent email messages. These are just a few issues reported by users. Samsung promised that the new update will include support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch for both devices, as well as the Knox security platform.
Although there’s no real confirmation from Samsung UK when the update would actually arrive, we could expect that it would appear soon through the Samsung Kies. There’s also rumor that the company will soon follow this up with the Android 4.4 update, which would hopefully deliver much smoother experience than the earlier faulty Jelly Bean build.
