Android 4.3 Update Will Arrive to HTC One in the UK

HTC OneThe latest Jelly Bean (Android 4.3) builds for the HTC One have been making the rounds through various major carriers in the United States. In the meantime, users in the UK need to wait for a bit longer. HTC UK tweeted recently that the definite release date for the update has yet to be announced. In short, it could take up to five weeks before the software arrives.

Through its @HTC_UK account, the company said that users should expect that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One will arrive in 3-5 weeks. We could be hopeful that the update will arrive in three weeks, but it appears that it will not arrive until later on November or even early December.

The majority of HTC One users are still using the older Android 4.2 build, which is still capable enough for daily uses. But even with the release of Android 4.3 update, users will still be one step behind, since Google will soon release the Kit Kat (Android 4.4) update.

Users in the UK and the rest of the Europe are luckier, since the update will include the Sense 5.5 UI, while in other regions; users get the older Sense 5.0 UI.
