LoveFilm App is Available for Prepaid iPhone in the United Kingdom

LoveFilm AppFor about a couple years, only iPad users in the UK are able to access the LoveFilm streaming service. But now, it has now come to prepaid iPhone units complete with IMDB integration and AirPlay support.

LoveFilm is a cross-platform service, with availability on many devices, including gaming consoles and connected TV hardware, but curiously the iOS version for iPhone didn’t show up for quite a long time. Obviously, playing videos on relatively small 3.5-inch or 4-inch iPhone won’t be as pleasant as on full-sized iPad.

In recent months, Amazon has brought a wealth of new contents to LoveFilm users; and the online retailer already secured deals with Scripps Networks Interactive, Viacom and Warner Bros.

Prepaid iPhone users can get a 30-day trial period when they sign up to LoveFilm. Afterwards, they can choose different subscription packages starting from £5.99 per month.

Because Netflix has expanded rapidly in the UK, Amazon needs LoveFilm to keep its presence in the streaming service market. Amazon has been regarded as having better movie library than Netflix, so it needs to work harder to bring more content for UK consumers.
