A leaked image from Carphone Warehouse may reveal the arrival thousands of boxes filled with white Nexus 5. The picture shows 1500 boxes and it is claimed there are also 1,500 boxes of the black model in stock. A closer look at the image may confirm that it was taken from the Carphone Warehouse facility although we can’t be too sure about this. Although such an image is very difficult to fake, caution is still advised.
If this report is true, there’s a possibility that Carphone Warehouse already has 3,000 units of Nexus 5 in its system. It appears that Google wants to make sure that retail partners won’t run into any serious stock issues, like what had happened with the Nexus 4.
There’s no official confirmation on the internal hardware specification of the device. But, we could be quite certain that the Nexus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. We could also expect to see it getting the 4.95-inch 1080p display, 1.3Mp front-facing camera, 8Mp rear-facing camera with OIS, 16GB/32GB of internal storage and 2,300mAh battery. It will also be among the first with the Kit Kat (Android 4.4) operating system.
