Many owners of Prepaid Samsung Galaxy S4 in the UK have been waiting for the latest Android 4.3 update.
The South Korean company has promised earlier this month that it will release the last Jelly Bean update for both the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4. There were no specifics on the official roll out date, so a little bit of extra details should be helpful for users. A screenshot has appeared online and it shows a Galaxy S4 unit running the XXUBMA8 build, that’s based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Unlike the earlier Android 4.1, the 4.3 isn’t a major update, but it should bring a host of new features to the Galaxy S4, including improved performance, better stability, OpenGL 3.0 support and a few fixes.
With the new update, prepaid Galaxy S4 users in the UK can finally obtain compatibility with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Originally, only the Galaxy Note 3 receives such a support and the same capability would arrive to Galaxy S3 too.
This won’t be the last update for the Galaxy S4, since the Android 4.4 Kit Kat will arrive next month. But it would take another three or four months for Samsung to deliver the Kit Kat for users.
