It looks like that Motorola will have one more significant smartphone release before the year ends. Hints on possible specifications and pricing for the UK market have recently appeared before the device is officially launched. We have been treated to the earlier Moto X and Motorola did hint that one more smartphone model would be available for us.
The Motorola Moto G was previously known as the DVX and its future availability in the UK has been confirmed. A promotional material has recently surfaced and it seems to be from Phones4U and designed for this year’s holiday season, considering the Christmas theme.
The Motorola Moto G will feature 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 4.5-inch 720p video with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 329ppi of pixel density. Other hardware specs are listed as 1.2Mp front-facer, 5Mp rear-facing shooter and 8GB of internal storage. It also comes preinstalled with the reasonably new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. It would be a bit to soon for us to expect the chocolate software treat, Kit Kat, from a non-Nexus smartphone. The non-contract Moto G will be available in the UK for £134.5.
