Cricket Wireless recently announced updates to Muve Music and new device payment plans. Now, the company has also announced the arrival of a new budget smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Discover. The phone won’t wow anyone with its 3.5” display and 3Mp rear-facing camera.
While the phone is clearly aimed for first-time smartphone users, it still provides access to Cricket’s Muve Music service and Google Play store. It will be available for £83 starting July 21st.
For £32 per month, prepaid subscribers can get 1GB of data as well as unlimited talktime and messaging. With £38 users can get up to 2.5GB of high speed data each month, also with unlimited talktime and text messages. With £45 subscribers will not only get 5GB of data, but also tethering capability to share Internet connection with other devices. The phone works on Cricket’s all digital LTE 4G network.
