BlackBerry announces the Z30 earlier in Malaysia and it is set to arrive later this month for prepaid subscribers in the United Kingdom. The phone should arrive on September 30, but the Selfridges may start to sell it a little bit earlier. Carphone Warehouse already built a concession stand for BB10 devices and users should be able to find the Z30 there in coming weeks.
The BlackBerry Z30 is equipped with 5-inch 720p AMOLED display, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 2880 mAh battery. Prepaid subscribers can pre-order the phone from Selfridges right now for £600.
The BlackBerry Z30 follows the same path as the Q10 and Z10, providing the BB10-based platform for professionals and average users. Despite being priced like a high-end device, the BlackBerry Z30 will be easily outgunned by cheaper Android devices, including the popular Samsung Galaxy S4.
