The Apple iPhone 5S has recently available for sale in the United Kingdom, with 16GB model for £549, 32GB model for £629 and 64GB model for £709. The so-called “low-cost” 16GB iPhone is available for £469 and the 32GB model for 549. With its enhanced 64-bit A7 processor, M7 motion chip and fingerprint scanner, the iPhone 5S is a direct upgrade of the earlier iPhone 5.
It is available in grey, silver and gold prepaid subscribers in the United Kingdom. Both devices come with the new iOS 7.0 version, which offers significantly revamped user interface.
It has sharper text, flatter icons and a modified control centre, where users can quickly change brightness settings, volume and enable/disable WiFi connection. Both iPhone models are being offered off-contract and on-contract by major network providers in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, supply issues should be expected and it could be rather difficult for many eager consumers to obtain these phones in coming weeks.
