Despite facing significant issues, BlackBerry remains operational and it continues to introduce new devices to various regions. The Z30 is finally available over in the United Kingdom and it’s the first phablet-like BlackBerry device. However, unlike other high-end devices in the market, the Z30 is equipped with lower display resolution, at 1280 x 720 and a dual core processor, the 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro.
Other important components include 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. BlackBerry fans may argue that the BB 10.2 OS uses resources more efficiently than Android OS and these internal components are sufficiently powerful enough. The device is also equipped with an external memory slot with supports for up to 64GB of microSD card slot.
The phone also has 16GB of internal storage inside the device. The 8Mp rear-facing camera has f/2.2 aperture to ensure better images in low-light situations. The 2880mAh battery should be able to keep the light on for multiple days. The BlackBerry Z30 is currently available for prepaid subscribers in the UK from Selfridges for £529.
