BlackBerry Z10 Porsche Design is Available in the UK for £1450

BlackBerry Z10 PorscheSources told us back in July that a special version of BlackBerry Z10 would arrive. The company introduced its Porsche Design for the first time on October 2011, using a modified version of Bold 9930. Finally a new Porsche Design smartphone is available in the UK and it is based on the BlackBerry Z10.

Having the Porsche brand, users can expect to get a phone with higher quality material. BlackBerry uses Italian leather on the back with glass weave design and the body is constructed from stainless steel. There’s also a variant with crocodile leather. As expected, the Z10 Porsche Design might put a dent into our bank account, because it is priced at £1450. Harrods will be the first to offer the phone starting on November 21.

Design aside, the BlackBerry Z10 Porsche Design is much less imposing when compared to current high-end devices. Equipped with 4.3-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1800mAh battery and BlackBerry 10.2 operating system, the phone is badly underpowered, but at least users can have access to 4G data connectivity. Even the cheaper and more cheerful Moto G offers better hardware specs at only £135. Overall, the BlackBerry Z10 Porsche Design is ideal only for die hard BlackBerry users who have got the extra cash to spend.
