Priced at only £71, there’s a little to dislike from the Vodafone Smart III. Obviously, the relatively low megapixel count, at just 5Mp is irrelevant for a phone this cheap. Although photos produced may lack fine details and look a bit blurred, they should look nice on popular social networking websites.
Instead of using the standard removable back cover, the Smart III comes with a detachable plastic frame, which allows users to remove the semi-transparent rear cover. The phone is a bit underpowered even in the entry-level category with its 1GHz single-core processor and 512MB of RAM. With 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot, users can still able to install plenty of apps.
The 4-inch display is fine for typical indoors use, while the WVGA resolution can keep everything look clear and crisp. Using the web browser shouldn’t be a problem, since on-screen texts are easily readable. Those used to larger screen will find the onscreen keyboard somewhat cramped causing typos more likely to occur.
