A new Samsung Tizen has arrived and it will soon arrive using the SGH-N055 model number. A user mentioned the device in a bug listing; it is said that the DoCoMo version of the SGH-N055 didn’t have a specific type of bug. Apparently, Samsung could be testing the device in DoCoMo’s network.
Earlier reports suggest that the device will arrive in five different countries in October including Japan. Chances are, Samsung will announce its new Tizen-powered device later this year at a developer conference event. However, we shouldn’t dismiss an earlier release date at October.
No specs or anything has been given, and little is known about the device. Given that the phone will be launched in Japan, we may expect to see a number of market-specific features, such as water-resistance capability. The use of SGH prefix for a Tizen-based device looks like a bit unusual, but this could simply an expansion of the lineup.
