Sony recently unveiled the Xperia Z1 at the IFA 2013 event and as hardware specs have been confirmed, pricing is now the most sought after detail of the device. While pricing and release date has yet to be announced, retailers in Europe already set the price tag quite high.
Prepaid subscribers in UK will start to receive the pre-ordered devices next week. In the United Kingdom, the Xperia Z1 is set for £599; while in other European countries it could start from €679 to as high as €865.
Hardware-wise, the Sony Xperia Z1 is a more impressive device than the Samsung Galaxy S4. It features the 5-inch full HD TFT display with X-Reality and Triluminos technologies. It comes with the more powerful 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and Adreno 330 GPU. The 2GB of RAM should allow adequate multitasking performance and 16GB internal storage offers ample space for typical mobile uses.
