Major carriers in the United Kingdom will soon announce the availability of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for prepaid HTC One. Google released the latest Jelly Bean version in June. It introduces support for 4k resolution, OpenGL standards and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE).
Prepaid subscribers in the UK should also expect to get an updated Sense 5 UI with changes in battery indicator, BlinkFeed and launch bar. The Taiwan-based company started rolling out the Android 4.3 update for HTC One a couple of weeks ago. Carriers in Canada and the US-based Sprint are still deploying the update for their customers.
HTC also announced the availability of limited edition of HTC One in the UK, to be presented during the MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards on October 19 in Glasgow. Priced at £2750 in the United Kingdom, the Gold HTC One is the most expensive and exclusive handset ever released by HTC in the country.
HTC worked with Laban Roomes during the development of the device. It has a laser-etched MOBO 18 logo on the rear and sophisticated polished finish. Laban Roomes previously worked on customized phones for various Hollywood stars, including Kate Moss, Will Smith and Denzel Washington.
