After resuming Jelly Bean Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3 in some countries, finally Samsung has also rolled out the same update for users in the United Kingdom. At the moment, the build is available only for select Galaxy S3 users in the United Kingdom, but it should soon arrive to other parts of the country.
Samsung say that they regret any inconvenience that users have experience and the company is doing everything it can to get their updating services back to normal. Users who hasn’t received for OTA update could do to Settings > More > About Device > Software Update > and then proceed with the OTA installation. The update has build date 28 November with version number 2168382, which is specified for users in the United Kingdom.
The I9300XXUGMK6 is a direct successor to the I9300XXUGMJ9. The new Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3 offers an array of enhancements and new features such as new Camera mode, improved user interface, support for Galaxy Gear Smartwatch and faster performance. However, the Samsung Knox security feature hasn’t arrived yet and it could be included in the next build. The Samsung Galaxy S3 should receive the newest KitKat Android 4.4 update in March or April next year.
